March Was So Beautiful
March was truly wonderful—I had the most beautiful 38th birthday, one that felt carefully planned and curated by God and the Holy Spirit. The love I received came in all five love languages, and every gift was a reminder of the kindness and generosity around me.
I received a password to study at Harvard—what an incredible gift! Nasiphi baked for me, pouring love into something homemade. Emotion gifted me something heartfelt, and Chip gave me chocolates. Kelly bought me drinks, and Janella brought me flowers, a dress, and other beautiful things. Santa even gave me a phone, and the NAACP blessed me with lots of perfumes.
I was also honored to sing at the School of Accounting, and I received countless messages from people—from the body of Christ and beyond. Many went out of their way to wish me a happy birthday on platforms I never expected, turning their words and actions into gifts of service.
As if all of that weren’t enough, I also had the privilege of wrapping gifts for others celebrating birthdays, including a 21st and a 41st. I decorated cakes and wrote letters and birthday cards, sharing in the joy of others.
Most importantly, my life and my family's lives were spared in a terrible accident. God protected me and my daughter, and for that, I am endlessly grateful.
March was a month of love, blessings, and deep gratitude.
